Review/recenzija: Kristen Ashley: Creed

Happy holidays everyone! I hope you had a merry little Christmas 🎅🎄 I hope you spent it with the ones you love, with the whole bunch of presents and amazing food.
Also, I wish you to have fun for the rest of 2016 and make interesting plans about how to welcome 2017!
I wish for all of you to find at least a hundred books to read, and this is where, I hope, I can be of help. I'm bringing you the review of Creed, the second novel in Unfinished Hero series by Kristen Ashley.

Creed and Sylvie met when they were still children, during some unfair and ugly circumstances. They became irreplaceable support for one another, best friends, and in the end, even more than that. Their emotions were genuine, sincere, naive and every bit as forbidden.
Credd and Sylvie ended up separated, and now, their encounter more than a decade later makes both of theirs wounds reopen. While they were away from each other, Creed has moved on, and now Sylvie has to learn how to live with people he shares his life with.
While working on as assignment her boss and friend Knight has given them, Sylvie must decide if she wants to give herself a second chance to find love, and Creed needs to find a way to show her that during all those years apart, Sylvie was the only one he wanted. And still dose.

In the beginning of this novel the author shares with us a few words about her experience with Sylvie. Ashley claims for Sylvie to be the favorite female character she has ever created. She says Sylvie is a brave woman, a true hero. Sylvie has found a way to put her life into a perspective again after living a horrible life for six years, and we get to witness her life at the moment the men she loves enters her life again.
Just like the novel before this one, Creed is a book we need to read having in mind that some scenes may cause us to feel upset or agitated. This is an erotic novel at its finest. It's full of vulgar vocabulary and explicit scenes. This is not a novel for young readers, so be careful with it. But if you like it raw and dirty, this is the right novel for you.

In Creed we meet Knight again. You can read about him here, or you can trust me when I say that that man is able to leave better impression in every novel he appears. Sylvie sees him through different eyes than Anya, but that makes him even more alive as a person.
Also, we get to hear about Hawk Delgado again. Ladies, remember him from Dream Man series? Yeah, you can get to remember Mystery man again. Have fun 😉

I won't even try to describe Creed or Sylvie because it would be very hard to do it and not to spoil the novel. Besides, considering those two spent about 10 years of their lives together and practically alone with one another, it would be impossible to distinguish their personalities since they share o much similarities. You'll just have to read it and meet them 😉
The only thing I didn't really like were some repeated scenes and conversations. I pretty much loved everything else. Oh, besides the covers. I know they have everything to do with a very important place for Creed and Sylvie, but they could make them a bit more interesting. Just sayin'...

So, what do you say? Did you read anything by Kristen Ashley yet? Do you want to? Let me know.

Happy New Year! 🎆🎇

Rose

Pozdravljam vas u slavljenički raspoloženom duhu, usred najljepšeg i najveselijeg tjedna u godini.

Ponovno susrećemo Viteza (recenzija ovdje), čija prisutnost mene svaki puta iznova zavodi, a ovom prilikom dobivamo uvid u njegovu stranu kakvu poznaje Sylvie, i ona nije ništa manje privlačna od one koju nam predstavlja Anya.

Sretna vam nova 2017! 🎆🎇
